2. Website delivery and server logs
When the website is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary connection data. This may include the IP address, date and time, requested resource, amount of data transferred, browser, operating system and referrer. Processing is necessary for secure and stable operation, troubleshooting and protection against misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is retained only for as long as required for these purposes or to comply with legal obligations. Technical service providers may act as processors.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
Joomla uses strictly necessary cookies, particularly for session management, login, security functions and, where applicable, language selection. These cookies are required to provide functions requested by the user. They are not used for advertising or user profiling. Session cookies are generally deleted at the end of the session; cookies storing an expressly selected preference may remain for longer.
4. User accounts and members area
When a user registers or uses an account, the submitted account data, access credentials, language preferences and technically necessary usage data are processed. This is required to create and administer the account and to provide protected community functions. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; security and abuse-prevention measures additionally rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Account data is stored until the account is deleted and thereafter only where statutory retention duties apply.
5. Editorial and community content
If users submit articles, comments, images or other content, the submitted data is processed for publication, moderation and community administration. Visible content may be published together with the selected display name. Before publication, users will be informed which information is publicly visible. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or, for voluntary publication, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
6. Contact
When contacting us by email or through a contact form introduced later, the submitted information is processed to handle the request. Depending on the nature of the enquiry, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is deleted when the enquiry has been fully dealt with unless statutory retention duties apply.
7. Backups
System backups are created for recovery and security. They may contain personal data stored in Joomla at the time of backup. Backups are protected against unauthorised access, used only for restoration and security, and overwritten or deleted according to the defined backup cycle.
8. External links
Links to the Primal-Recon book may lead to Amazon. Data is transferred to the respective provider only when the external link is opened. From that point, the external provider's privacy policy applies.
9. Analytics, advertising and external fonts
No analytics or advertising trackers are currently used. Fonts and core page assets are served locally. If this changes, this policy will be updated before the relevant service is used and consent will be obtained where required.
10. Individual rights
Subject to the legal requirements, individuals have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Requests can be sent to
